Easy Ways to Lose Weight.
Simple changes to your lifestyle can help you lose weight and keep it off.
10 tips to lose weight
Did you know that there are easy ways to lose weight? Not everyone has the money for an expensive commercial diet, a personal trainer or meal delivery service. And you may not have the willpower to stick to calorie-counting for the long haul. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t change your body. Use these easy ways to lose weight without the fuss or the expense.
That said, many eating plans leave you feeling hungry or unsatisfied. These are major reasons why you might find it hard to stick to a healthier eating plan.
However, not all diets have this effect. Low carb diets and whole food, lower calorie diets are effective for weight loss and may be easier to stick to than other diets.
First Tips to Lose Weight. Here are some ways to lose weight that employ healthy eating: Cut back on refined carbs One way to lose weight quickly is to cut back on sugars and starches, or carbohydrates. This could be with a low carb eating plan or by reducing refined carbs and replacing them with whole grains.
When you do that, your hunger levels go down, and you generally end up eating fewer calories.
With a low carb eating plan, you’ll utilize burning stored fat for energy instead of carbs.
If you choose to eat more complex carbs like whole grains along with a calorie deficit, you’ll benefit from higher fiber and digest them more slowly. This makes them more filling to keep you satisfied.
Weight Loss Summary. Reducing sugars and starches, or carbs, from your diet can help curb your appetite, lower your insulin levels, and make you lose weight.
But the long-term effects of a low carb diet are not yet known. A reduced calorie diet could be more sustainable.
Second Tips to Lose Weight. Choose Liquid Calories Wisely. Sweetened drinks pile on the calories, but don’t reduce hunger like solid foods do. Satisfy your thirst with water, sparkling water with citrus, skim or low-fat milk. Try a glass of nutritious and low-calorie vegetable juice to hold you over if you get hungry between meals. Be careful of alcohol calories, which add up quickly. If you tend to drink a glass or two of wine or a cocktail on most days, limiting alcohol to the weekends can be a huge calorie saver.
Weight Loss Summary. Dont drinking any fizzy drinks and fruit juices, only fresh WATER or water with citrus.
Third Tips to Lose Weight. Portion control is one of the biggest nutrition hacks I’ve found for sticking to a healthy lifestyle, losing weight, and then maintaining my ideal weight. The idea is to understand what your body needs and just eat to that level. Measuring food may seem like a chore, but it will prove invaluable in your efforts to lose weight. But you don’t have to weigh everything you eat. If you don’t have a handy scale, use your hand to measure portions. There are certain foods that are easy to overeat and you may find you usually consume two or even three times the recommended serving. By measuring your food before you eat it, you’ll make sure you’re eating the right amount.
4. Get more active
Being active is key to losing weight and keeping it off. As well as providing lots of health benefits, exercise can help burn off the excess calories you cannot lose through diet alone. Find an activity you enjoy and are able to fit into your routine. Read more
5. Do not stock junk food
To avoid temptation, do not stock junk food – such as candy, biscuits, crisps, mayonnaise, ketchup and sweet fizzy drinks – at home. Instead, opt for healthy snacks, such as fruit, unsalted rice cakes, oat cakes, unsalted or unsweetened popcorn.
7. Cut down on alcohol
A standard glass of wine can contain as many calories as a piece of chocolate. Over time, drinking too much can easily contribute to weight gain. Alcohol lowers inhibitions and therefore increases mindless eating. Mindless eating does not help to lose weight.
8. Eat More Slowly
If you eat too fast, you may eat way too many calories before your body even realizes that you are full. Faster eaters are much more likely to become obese, compared to those who eat more slowly. Chewing more slowly may help you eat fewer calories and increase the production of hormones that are linked to weight loss.
9. Think About Your Ideal Weight
Imagine yourself at your dream weight. Visualise wearing an outfit you have dreamt of, and see yourself slim. Everything in existence has begun with the right thought. Give it the right energy, and see yourself happy and leaner not just in thought but in reality. Don’t weigh yourself daily, sometimes it just unnecessarily panics you and can be demotivating. Also, the scale can be deceiving as it ignores the fact that you might be adding muscle weight. Weigh yourself once a week and ideally in the morning.
10. Focus on Changing Your Lifestyle
Dieting is one of those things that almost always fails in the long term. In fact, people who “diet” tend to gain more weight over time. Instead of focusing only on losing weight, make it a primary goal to nourish your body with healthy food and nutrients.
Eat to become a healthier, happier, fitter person — not just to lose weight.
